I am going to share some poems from this blog that I have written.
I like to write poems.

I have learn literature for my Diploma at the  Institute of Advanced Technology (ATI) Sri Lanka

I would like to remind my first Literature teacher respectably ; She is Ms. Dinali Lokugamage.

I will post all my poems on this blog that I have written up to now , for you to read.

Water

If there is more water it’s a problem

If there is less water it’s also a problem

No one can live without water 

No one can live with more water

Who makes the decisions about the limitation?

Who controls it?

Who makes water?

Who makes the ocean?

And who can dry it?

No one can make water

No one can make a spring

No one can make a river

No one can make ocean

No one can dry them too

No one can control the nature

If someone try to do it

Nature will punish him

But we can protect these all

And we all should protect them for our future

I’ll spent your time for you….

I spent your time for my work

I did not think it

I did not feel it as a wrong

But Suddenly I got to my mind that

“Oh this is not my time”

I got my remuneration

So I have no right to spend

Your time for my work

I was with you

I did some work for you

But I think it is not enough

I miss some of your works

I did not care some facts

I could have done some more things

For you to improve

Your life and for your future

I have to strict for you

I have to do something more and more

And more activities

I have limited time to be with you all

But I have enough time for you with me

I can prepare with some more tools

And I can bring them to you

It’s my responsibility

I will do my best for you….. 

I should do

I should do, I have to do, No one else to do

But I have no time, no money no way

What I can do for you?

You are helpless

You are very weak

You have many bad qualities

But still you are my ……….

I have a life to protect

I have a family to look after

I have to be with them and

I have responsibilities to do for them

If I spend time and money for you

And if I do what you want,

I will miss my life and my family

We have a generation gap

Now I am helpless

I am at a fence, I cannot jump

To here or there

I have to be on the fence and

Look after the both

Only I can pray every morning

“You get enough food to eat for the day

Make you happy and keep you safety

Protect your healthy life

Triple gems may bless you……

I’m So Happy….

I can’t believe, but it’s true

I was warring about you

I thought that I will not

Get a chance to look after you

As my mind

But the fate was fair to me

As well as to my mother

I got a chance to look after

My mother

She too got a chance to

Be with me and spend

Her future comfortably

There was brightness

Behind the sad and bad

This is the life

I believe that

If we treat in fair to our fate 

The fate will treat us in very fair way

I don’t want to go to the heaven

I don’t want to be an angel

But I want to keep her in heaven

I want to keep her as an angel

In the last period of her life time

I love you my dearest MOTHER

She is happy if ..!

If the child cry immediately born

She is happy and she laugh

If the child laugh always after that

She also happy

If the child drink milk well

She is very happy

If the child look at her

She is happy

If the child tern here and there well

She is happy

If the child eat all the food

She prepared for him/her

She is happy

If the child try to stand on his foot

She is happy

If the child start to walk

She is happy

If the child try to speak words one by one

She is happy

If the child try to write something

She is happy

If the child try to read something

She is happy

Where is the end of her happy ?

She =Mother

I am a tree

Who made me?

Oh the nature made me

For whom I made; by the nature?

For you........... For you..............yes for you

What's my duty?

Providing everything

For you live on the earth

What I give you......?

I give you the fresh air, you to breathe

I give you food when you are hungry

I give shade when you are tired

I give you water when you are thirsty

I give you medicine when you are sic

Finally I give you my life

When you want to build a house,

When you want to make furniture

BUT WHAT DO YOU GIVE ME?
